Functional Vitality is a Direct Primary Care Provider located in Sealy, Texas. We approach healthcare through reviving the fundamental principles it was started on: keeping patient health, access to care, and affordability at the center of all that we do.
Our Direct Primary Care Model involves a private arrangement between the patient and us without the involvement of insurance providers or other third-parties.
By paying a reasonable monthly Membership Fee, our members gain access to all Primary Care Services with a more personal focus as compared to typical Family Doctors. Not only is this a more cost effective form of healthcare, but it also equates to greater patient comfort and superior overall care.
Meet your Family Nurse Practitioner at Functional Vitality Direct Primary Care, Rebekah Shaw, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FMACP
Rebekah graduated from Walden University in 2020 with a Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified with The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Texas Board of Nursing.
Rebekah has worked in many different areas of nursing, including Telementry, Family Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. She completed her Functional Medicine certification through Functional Medicine Academy with various certifications such as Pro-Pell hormone pellet therapy, Transform Weight Loss, IV Nutrition, and Aesthetics.
After seeing countless individuals just "stack" medications on top of each other with little to no improvement, Rebekah knew there had to a be a different way to approach these situations. She found her answer through Functional Medicine - finding the root cause and then providing a more balanced individualized approach.
